Warranty/Guarantee
All our products come with a minimum 12 months manufacturers guarantee, there will be information on how to register your product either with the item itself or on the manufacturer’s website. We do recommend that you check the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty before purchasing. These can be found on each manufacturer’s website, or by calling their customer services teams.
As most of these items are domestic appliances, they are not usually covered by warranty in a business or commercial setting. Please call us before purchasing if you have any questions regarding this. If an item is put into a commercial setting and then goes wrong within the warranty period and is not covered under the domestic warranty, we will not be held responsible.
C J Hampshire will not compensate for or be held responsible for the following after delivery and installation, both during and after the manufactures warranty period.
- Accidental damage, for example if your item has been dropped. You may find that this type of damage is covered by your household contents insurance policy.
- Pixel spots. These are tiny dark or bright spots that may become visible on a TV screen.
- Digital television picture affected by any of the following: a misaligned or unsuitable aerial, climatic conditions, geographic location, poor quality or low strength broadcast signal.
- Consumables such as batteries, fuses, light bulbs etc.
- If the product has been used commercially or for business purposes.
- Cosmetic damage such as, scratches, dents, corrosion, or colour where the function of the product is unaffected.
- Unblocking drainage channels in refrigeration equipment.
- Frozen food loss because of the product breaking down or fault with the appliance. You may find that this is covered by your household contents insurance policy.
- Any loss suffered as a result of not being able to use the product.
- Servicing, inspecting or cleaning of the product; and failure to follow the manufacturer`s instructions and/or installation guidelines.
- Deliberate damage or neglect of the product.
